SwingIQ ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data SwingIQ collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Data we collect

SwingIQ is a local-first golf tracker. We do not operate an account system or developer server for your rounds, do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and do not sell personal data.

Round scores, shot logs, club-bag details, notes, and statistics are stored locally on your iPhone. SwingIQ v1 does not sync this data to a developer-operated server or CloudKit container.

HealthKit

If you explicitly grant permission, SwingIQ uses Apple Health to record round activity and display relevant activity totals such as steps, distance, and active energy. Health data stays within Apple Health and the app's on-device experience; SwingIQ does not transmit it to a developer server.

In-app purchases

SwingIQ may offer optional Pro subscriptions or a lifetime purchase through StoreKit 2. Apple processes purchases; SwingIQ does not receive your full payment-card details. Current availability and localized pricing are shown in the app.

Analytics

SwingIQ does not include third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

Advertising

SwingIQ does not include advertising.

Children's privacy

SwingIQ does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

Wellness disclaimer

SwingIQ is a tracking tool, not a coaching product. Recommendations, charts, and statistics are informational only and do not constitute medical, fitness, or golf instruction. Consult a qualified PGA professional for swing advice.

Your rights

You can delete all local data at any time by deleting the app. See the Delete App Data page for instructions, including how to revoke Health access.
